How to Change Password / Unlock your WorkCare Office.com Account
Overview:
This guide provides information regarding how to manage your WorkCare Microsoft 365 password. You can change your password using your WorkCare computer or any mobile device. These steps can be used to perform a normal passwords change, forgot or unlock password.
You must have Multifactor authentication setup for your account in-order for these instructions to If you have not setup go to My Sign-Ins | Security Info | Microsoft.com to complete your Security Info setup.
Step 1:
Note: It is highly recommended you save this website to your bookmarks. This will make it much easier to access / use in the future.
Step 2:
Upon accessing the Microsoft password reset screen you will be presented with the following screen (see Figure 1).
- To change or recover a locked account enter your WorkCare email address. After entering your email address, the logo in the top left corner of the screen will change to WorkCare (see figure 2).
- Enter the random characters displayed on the screen and click next. You will then be guided through the steps to reset credentials.

Step 3:
After completing steps 1 and 2 you will then be asked what you would like to do with your account.
- I forgot my password – Use this option to change your password
- I know my password but still can’t sign in – Use this option to unlock your account.
Select the appropriate option and click “Next”
Note: If you received an email notification from WorkCare that is time to change your password, use the “I forgot my password” option.
Step 4:
After completing step 3 you will be presented with the following screen options. Select your preferred contact method and continue.

Step 5:
Follow the Prompts:
- After verifying your identity, follow the instructions on the screen to reset your password. You will be asked to create a new password, making sure it follows the organization's password policies (e.g., minimum length, character requirements, etc.).
Sign in with Your New Password:
- Once your password is reset, you can go back to the Microsoft sign-in page and use your new password to log in to your account.
